Royal British Legion Scotland visit to Creteil
Representatives of the Royal British Legion Scotland Grangemouth and Larbert branches will visit Creteil at the invitation of the local Anciens Combattants to mark the anniversary of the speech by General de Gaulle from London on June 18 1940 to rally the French Resistance and the Free French army. The delegation will include a standard bearer to participate in the celebrations on June 18.
Visit from the Odenwald
A group of 30 persons from the Odenwald are currently on a visit to Falkirk. They have organised a programme packed with exciting visits and activities in Central Scotland and further afield including a trip over to Mull. A ceilidh will take place at the Cladhan Hotel on Saturday 11 June to which members from Falkirk Twinning and the public are invited.The tickets cost £19.50 each and includes a delicious three course meal and Scottish entertainment.
